At McCully’s Hill Farm we believe rural education is an important and valuable component of a young person’s experience. We would like to provide an opportunity for your students to learn about agriculture and rural studies on our working farm.
We offer a hands-on experience during the months of March and October. We focus specifically on Harvest Time (October), Sugar Bush Season (March to early April). If you wish to visit the farm during another time, we would be happy to offer a tour based on another theme.
Our programs are generally two hours in length and include wagon rides, a visit with the animals, free time on the sand mountain and seasonal activities. Depending on your groups’ needs we can adjust the tour to cater to a specific learning goals the class may have.
March is Maple Syrup Season which highlights touring the sugar bush to see the tapped maples trees and touring the sugar shack to see and learn about how maple syrup is produced.
October is Fall Harvest season which highlights a tour of the forest to see the changing colours, free time in the straw fort, the corn maze, and the pumpkin catapult.
Pricing for tours is $9.00 (tax included) for Students which includes 1 adult for every 5 students. Additional adults are $5 (tax included).
A minimum charge of 20 people is required for a booking. We ask that you kindly book at least two weeks in advance.
We invite you to email us for more information on our programs.
Sincerely,
McCully's Hill Farm
